Not so much a vent as it is a nitpick. Schpog is one of the best preg artists around right now, but I really wish she would do more detailed color drawings like these. Most of her work is sketches, and it sucks that so many great sketches of hers will probably never be colored in or fully finished.

Rather I just lament that nowadays you can't really expect characters from newer shows to get any preg art when before you had a good chance of finding content if you just browsed a bit in the right places. I blame this change largely on the emergence and subsequent domination of gacha/vtubers in recent years. Mobile games and agencies which just churn out and toss designs at the wall until one sticks. If this doesn't bother you all the more power to you but personally I can't get behind it. I got this fetish mainly from seeing pregnancy occasionally pop up in shows I watched as a kid, so a big preference I have is seeing pregnancy applied to characters I've watched grow and develop through some sort of narrative. Character who I can get invested in, who feel like well...characters, and not one-off designs made for advertisement. Because of this it's frustrating to see vtubers and gachagirls dominate the fanart scene nowadays, and subsequently the more niche fetish fanart scenes as well. Then even if you do find fanart of characters from actual shows, chances are high it'll just be old classic characters who you've already seen entirely galleries of art for. The character polls some artists hold perfectly encapsulate this issue for example. Half the list will be characters from Blue Archive, Hololive, Genshin, etc, the rest will be popular girls who you've probably already seen countless art of by now. Samus, Zelda, Lucoa, Ryuko just to name a few examples. Then the cherry on top will be an obscure character actually being on the poll but only existing to be laughed out with 2% of the vote. I don't really mind the latter type of character getting art compared to vtubers/gacha, but it does feel redundant when they already have plenty of art to start with. In any case this feels like a silly thing to rant about, especially when at the end of the day it's a no-brainer that popular things will always get more attention.
